We will be having a Family Skating Party on Tuesday, February 14th from 1:30-3:30 pm.  We will provide cookies and hot chocolate.  Brush off those skates and come out for a fun afternoon.

An extra supervisor will be on hand to supervise students while they take advantage of the skating rink on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch recess.  It is advantageous for the students if they can get their skates on and off by themselves.  We will have Grade 5 and 6 students on hand to tie skates for the younger students.  All students must have a CSA approved helmet.  Mittens or gloves are also required for skating. 

Wow, we made it through January. February is quick on its heels and the children at Pipesone School will be very busy this month.

Thursday, February 2, the students will board a bus and go to Millet School where they will be entertained by Concrete Theatre and the presentation of "Lig and Bittle"

February 2 is also Groundhog Day,so we will be making our predictions and hoping for an early Spring!

The Teachers Convention is on February 9 and 10 so there will be no school for students on these days.

The students in Grades 3-6 will be going to the ESO on Wednesday, February 15. Permission slips will be sent home soon.

The staff and students will enjoy a long weekend this month. There will be no school on Friday, February 17 and Monday, February 20. Enjoy the break.

Students in Grades 4-6 will enjoy another day of skiing on Thursday, February 23 at Rabbit Hill. Permission slips will go home soon,
